Capabilities

At Ease Sustainment specializes in the sale of promotional items to the Department of Defense. At Ease Sustainment has developed relationships with numerous manufacturers that ensure timely delivery of a vast array of products, including match grade ammunition, branded clothing, medical supplies, and more for our government customers.

Our Leadership Team

  • Jim - Chief Executive Officer

    Our Chief Executive Officer, Sergeant Major (R) Jim Mauer is a US Army veteran with 30 years of service and has extensive experience in medical logistics, biomedical engineering, recruiting and retention. As the Noncommissioned Officer in Charge of the Army Reserve Marksmanship Team, his team won national championships in both the National Trophy Team (2016) and National Infantry Trophy Team (2018). His battalion won the 2019 US Army Small Arms Team Championship. Jim has served as the captain or coach on over 20 National, Inter-Service, or US Army winning Teams; was the 2019 Service Rifle National Long Range Champion (Farr Trophy), the 2022 Service Rifle Long Range Champions (Porter Trophy) and is US Army Distinguished in both Rifle and Pistol. Jim takes his knowledge of marksmanship training, government acquisitions, recruiting and retention into all aspects of At Ease Sustainment’s business model.

  • John - Operations Manager

    Our Operations Manager, Master Sergeant John Anthony (U.S. Army Retired) is a US Marine and Army veteran with a total of 26 years of service and has a vast array of experience with recruiting and retention, GSA programs, government contracting, along with planning, coordinating, and executing training sessions for multiple government agencies. As Operations Manager for At Ease, John not only coordinates conferences for Government Agencies, Military and Corporate employers, he also coordinates sales to our DoD customers and manages day to day operations of At Ease Sustainment. John brings a personal ability to all our customers that ensures our products and services exceed standards while staying under our client’s budget. He brings motivation, discipline and leadership, not only to our company but to all clients he works with.

  • Max - Project Manager

    Our Project Manager, Max, is a full time student at The Ohio State University pursuing degrees in business management and business law. Max oversees the planning of projects through sourcing manufacturers & suppliers. He ensures that projects are completed in a timely manner and coordinates the execution of government contracts from initial solicitation to contract completion. Max serves as the primary advisor between multimedia and graphic design agencies. Max is a member of the US Young Eagles Rifle Team. Max qualified to represent the United States Under 21 Rifle Team at the World Long Range Championship in Bloemfontein, South Africa in March 2024.
